Overview: A class project to create a book detailing 5 items from a persons life to tell their story.

Process: After interviewing my father, I choose to use 5 different items from 5 different decades to fully capture his story. The book largely focuses on his journey to becoming a pilot. The book is blue because that is the color of plane maps. To make it more personable, samples of his handwriting are used throughout.

Outcome: The final book presents a personal, decade-spanning portrait of my father’s journey to becoming a pilot.
